First edition winners

Since March 11, 2020, when the World Health Organization declared a pandemic, filming was interrupted and premieres at the cinema and festivals were canceled, impacting the audiovisual sector in a very negative way. Faced with this situation, the first FESTIVAL LEAVING THE DRAWER was born, with the aim of creating content for the people who were at home, trying to alleviate the anguish that we are all feeling at the moment.

We are a family owned and operated business.

Fortunately the festival was a success, we had more than 8 thousand spectators and the popular votes were a great success. The festival was born independently by director Lucas Marques. No sponsorship and no support whatsoever.

We are a family owned and operated business.

The great news is that the second FESTIVAL OUT OF THE DRAWER has arrived, thanks to LAW ALDIR BLANC 14.017 / 2020. To participate with your film, read the rules by clicking here .

The idea of the festival is that the participating films are outside the circuit of film festivals, because of the age of production, since the vast majority requires that the film be no more than 3 years old. The festival is an opportunity to put these films to be seen again by a large audience. Make these stories breathe, be free, like the future that awaits us.

We are a family owned and operated business.

The festival team leaving the drawer thanks the affection of everyone who made the first edition possible. We promise an even better second edition.

We are a family owned and operated business.

Take care,
Wear a mask,
And if you can, don't leave home.

Graciously,
Festival Team Coming out of the Drawer.
